Welcome to Inderøy Adventure – a small, personal riding company located in the heart of the Golden Road, just 750 meters from Øyna Kulturlandskapshotell.

Here you can experience Inderøy from the back of a horse. Through a living cultural landscape shaped by people for over 6000 years. Past ancient burial mounds, hidden Stone Age sites, old croft ruins and panoramic viewpoints overlooking the Trondheimsfjord.

We offer riding experiences for everyone – from first-time riders to experienced horse people. Small groups. Personal guidance. No rush.


What We Offer

Guided Horseback Riding

All our rides are tailored to you. Your level, your pace, your curiosity.

1-Hour Ride
A calm and safe introduction. Perfect for children and first-time riders. Several horses can join, so parents and children can ride together.

1.5-Hour Cultural Landscape Ride
A beautiful ride through rolling farmland, past ancient monuments and historic sites. Can be combined with a stop at Øyna for ice cream or lunch.

3-Hour Bonfire Ride
A longer ride into the wild backcountry. We make a fire, prepare a simple meal outdoors and take our time.

Full-Day Ride
A complete day in the saddle. Tailored route, local food and time to truly settle into the landscape.


More Than Riding

Lasso Throwing
Learn the real cowboy skill – from the ground or on horseback. Fun for all ages.

Graocha
The rare vaquero art of riding with a pole. For experienced riders who want something new.

Meet the Animals
Join us to check on cattle, cows and calves grazing in the fields.

Foraging
Mushrooms, berries and herbs in season – with the horse as your companion.

Historical Walks
Not interested in riding? Explore the same landscape on foot, with stories by the fire.


Stay at Øyna – Ride With Us

Inderøy Adventure is located only 750 meters from Øyna Kulturlandskapshotell – one of Norway's most spectacular landscape hotels.

You can walk from your hotel room to the stable in about ten minutes. Or I can bring the horses directly to the hotel, so your ride starts right outside the door.

This makes Inderøy Adventure the perfect addition to your stay at Øyna. Sleep in architectural luxury with panoramic views over the fjord by night – and ride through ancient cultural landscape by day.


Why Ride With Us?

Our American Quarter Horses are calm, hardworking and used daily on the farm. For the smallest children we have Mozart, a gentle Welsh pony.
